Glenluce

Glenluce is a large rural village situated some 16 miles to the west of Newton Stewart and 9 miles east of the busy Ferry Port at Stranraer. The village offers a good variety of shops, hotels, newsagents, post office and an excellent local Golf Course. Road links to the Village are excellent with the A75 bringing in tourists from the Borders and the A77 Stranraer coastal road connecting to the north of Scotland. The ferry terminal also attracts many visitors from both Northern and Southern Ireland, an increasing market for the Galloway area.

Glenluce is an excellent base for tourists visiting the area as it is close to Stairhaven beach on Luce Bay but has good access to the Rhins of Galloway where Logan Gardens are situated and the Machars area where there are many interesting attractions including good golf courses, coastal walks etc.
